The 1 1/2" Square Tension Band is an essential and cost-effective piece for building chain link and ornamental fences. It is used to securely attach chain link fabric to line posts and terminal posts and to attach the tension bar to the post. The tension band wraps around the square post using a nut and carriage bolt and features a galvanized steel composition designed for residential applications. Fits Post Size 1 1/2" Sq. (Actual OD). Carriage Bolts are sold separately.

1 1/2" Domestic Square Tension Bands - 13 Gauge x 7/8"

The 1 1/2" Square Tension Band attaches chain link fabric to posts, frames, kennels, and more to ensure a long-lasting connection for the chain link mesh, tension bar, and post or frame. As a rule of thumb, one less tension band than the overall height of the fence should be utilized (i.e., a 6' high fence uses five tension bands). This easy-to-install square tension band has a high-quality, corrosion-resistant galvanized steel construction that features a standard 13 gauge ideal for residential applications. It requires a 5/16" x 1 1/4" carriage bolt for installation, sold separately.
